Golf Cart Brake Drum for EZGO TXT 1982-up Electric Vehicles (Warm tips: Hub spline and Rear Axle Shaft Spline should be matched tight) Easy to Install with Detailed Installation Instructions. ezgo txt drum is for the brake drum only. When replacing this brake drum, check the hub assembly as well. This brake hub/drum replaces the earlier hub & drum and has the star spline instead of the straight key There is a 3/4-Inch center hole with a 24-tooth star spline, the hub is held in place by a castellated nut (5/8-Inch x 18tpi), and a thick (118-inch) flat washer The EZGO brake drum is held in place by a castellated nut and a thick flat washer. This hub/drum will NOT operate with a keyed axle/hub interface Before replacing the brake drum, be sure to check if the half-shaft splines are also worn, if they are worn, they must be replaced together, to prolong the service life of the brake system
